Researcher in the Geosciences Center at University of Coimbra (Portugal), the Brazilian National Research Council (CNPq), and the Rio de Janeiro State Scientist Program (FAPERJ).

Doctor in Sciences, specialized in Paleontology, at the University "La Sapienza" of Rome (Italy). Visiting Professor of Historical Geology, Geology of Brazil and Vertebrate Paleontology at the Federal University of Paraná. Researcher of the National Council for Research (CNPq) of Brazil. Senior Associate Researcher at the Geology Department of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) and Associate Curator of the Museo della Scienza of Trento (Italy). Author of ichnology textbooks about South America and European ichnosites and its ichnofauna.
